Does Titleist distribute complimentary merchandise? (Golf Balls, Hats, etc.)

We receive many requests for merchandise throughout the course of a year. The cost of honoring all such requests would be prohibitive, and, because we do not want to discriminate by honoring some and not others, it is company policy to refrain from providing complimentary merchandise. We hope you understand our position in this matter.

Is it possible to receive a product donation for a tournament/fund-raiser we are sponsoring?

As you can imagine, the Acushnet Company receives thousands of requests for donations each year. The sheer volume of requests that we receive on a daily basis, dictates that we can no longer respond to individual donation requests. In the spirit of fairness we have adopted a policy whereby Acushnet Company now focuses its support to a variety of worthy locally-based and national charities. We support the United Way, the Susan G. Komen For the Cure and most recently Folds of Honor.

How do I register a Hole-in-One that I made with a Titleist golf ball?

I am interested in a Titleist sponsorship. How do I go about it?

Currently, Acushnet Company provides product support to exempt players on several worldwide professional tours, including the US PGA TOUR, PGA EUROPEAN TOUR, LPGA TOUR, CHAMPIONS TOUR, NATIONWIDE TOUR, AUSTRALASIAN TOUR, ASIAN TOUR, JAPAN GOLF TOUR, CANADIAN PGA TOUR, SOUTH AFRICAN PGA TOUR, JAPAN PGA SENIOR TOUR and EUROPEAN WOMEN'S TOUR. For these tours we provide golf balls, golf shoes and golf gloves to over 2,000 professionals worldwide. Acushnet Company feels strongly that it is important to stay in contact on a promotional level with the next generation worldwide exempt player. We are, however, limited in the number of players we can assist with product support, due to the overwhelming number of requests and budgetary constraints.

To maintain open-ended fairness to the identification process, we review the current season-ending and/or year-end money lists from all of the established mini-tours and secondary tours worldwide which predominantly feature 3 or 4 day events. For these tours, we provide product support (golf balls, gloves, headwear) to the leading money winners.

We recommend that all interested players formulate a detailed playing resume (including any/all amateur events in addition to your results as a professional) and tournament schedule through the end of the current season. Any PROFESSIONAL golfer proposing a promotional relationship with Acushnet Company would need to forward that information to our Tour Department (333 Bridge Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719). We will respond via US Mail to all resumes we receive. Our response will advise you of the programs for which you qualify. In some cases there is an option to utilize a personal use discount.

Can I place an order directly on your website?

What is the criteria and process for becoming an authorized Titleist dealer?

The following is a list of the key criteria for qualifying and maintaining an account with Titleist:

1. Location at a Regulation Golf Course, Executive or Par 3 Golf Course, Driving Range or presence of an identified Swing and Hit area where golf equipment can be tested.

2. Membership in the Professional Golfers Association of America, other golf associations, or documentation of substitute training or previous employment experience with regard to knowledge, fitting and recommendation of professional golf equipment.

3. Intent to allocate adequate floor space and inventory dollars to the retail sale and service of professional golf equipment.

4. Compatibility with the Acushnet Company's current and future distribution needs.

5. Sufficient credit worthiness to suggest continued ongoing operations.
